Accommodations
Throughout the program, students will live in on-campus residence hall. The specific allocation will be determined based on the current year’s programs.
Student Residence Hall (SRH)
- 4 students live in every suite, accessible with your room card.
- There are 2 bathrooms with a shower in each suite.
- Beds are 2 m x 0.97 m
- Closet space is available for each resident.
- The AC system is not centralized and operates each room separately from your neighbors.
- The laundry room is on the first floor in the corner near the field and the Service Building (5 RMB/load)
Graduate Student Residence Hall (GA)
- 4 students live in every apartment, 1 in each of the 4 internal Single rooms, accessible with your room card.
- Each single room is furnished with a 2 m x 0.97 m bed, desk, file pedestal, desk chair, lamp, and wardrobe.
- The AC system is not centralized and operates each room separately from your neighbors.
- There 2 toilets and 2 showers in each apartment. Students are responsible for cleaning these spaces.
- There is a kitchen with a sink, induction burners, and refrigerator in each apartment.
- There is a living room with a TV, TV stand, couch, living room chair, tea table, lamp, dining table, and dining chairs in each apartment.
- The laundry room is on the first floor.
Food and Beverage
Throughout the program, students can use their conference cards for on-campus dining. Before the program begins, we will preload the cards with a set amount of money for use. These are temporary cards that cannot be reloaded or cashed out by students. All cards will be collected once the program has been completed. Lost cards must be reimbursed for their full value.
The cafeteria is located in the Community Center West (CCTW) and has three floors with a variety of cuisines to choose from.
- First Floor Restaurant: Salad&Go, Noodle Bar(Malatang), Pangleshu, The Rolling Pin.
- Second Floor Restaurant: Taste of The Occident, Teppanyaki, Harbour Deli, Salad Bar, Halal Restaurant.
- Third Floor Restaurant: Weigh-and-Pay, WOK Work, Pop-up
Maps & Directions
Getting to Duke Kunshan
The closest airports to our campus are in Shanghai and Wuxi, while daily high-speed rail services stop at Kunshan South Railway Station. The city also has a comprehensive public transportation network including buses, taxis and shared bicycles.

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is 60 kilometers from DKU
Travel on Shanghai Metro Line 2 or 10 to Hongqiao Railway Station. From here, take a 20-minute high-speed train to Kunshan South Railway Station. A taxi or public bus (No. 22 or 31) will take you to DKU.
